Value for money is what you will always get when you dine in Lusso, Greenbelt. Their meals range from P400 to P1000 and they always presented well.

Foie Gras Toast

Super awesome! The toast, sauce and foie gras go perfectly and you can also eat the portion of salad on the side if it's too rich for you.

Truffle Chips

My favorite appetizer. Tastes like heaven and you can really taste (and smell) the truffle oil.

Lobster Sandwhich

This was great as well. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce was not too strong. you can share it or finish it yourself!

Shepherd's Pie

I was not a fan of this.

Flapjacks for Breakfast

I had breakfast in Flapjacks, Greenbelt with my mom and Sisters. The ambiance reminds you of Pancake house with more space and better service. I would pick this any day to Pancake house since the staff are more efficient.

Vigan Longganisa with 2 eggs

My mom and my sister C had this one and it's pretty good especially if you ask them to burn the longganisa a bit so it can be slightly crunchy.

Tapa with 2 eggs

Tapsilog is great comfort food and I was happy with what they served.

See the texture? It's perfect with the vinegar!

Perfect condiments for the filipino breakfast

This was A's order. She is like an american when she eats. I didn't try this but she said its good. The muffin looks moist, unlike the one they have in Mcdo. haha

Dessert: Banana Pancakes

Awesome! I am a pancake critic and this was great and moist. It was sweet and buttery and you even have the option to skip the syrup- my sisters did not agree.:)

Lorenzo's Way

My sister C treated us to lunch in Lorenzo's Way, Greenbelt. This is part of the LJC Restaurant Group (Cafe Adriatico, Abe, Fely J's, etc.). We enjoyed and feasted on "cardiac delight" food (good for the heart...at least for our family). Service here is fast and serving time is roughly 10 to 20 minutes. The ambiance is comfortable and cozy, plus the chairs are soft so you can sit and bond for as long as you want.

Chorizo Bilbao

Perfect with the oil!!!

Clams with garlic and olive oil

This was great and i love that they put a lot of garlic and herbs.

Kesong Puti

Not much of a fan of this, so it was average for me...

Weird Bread 

They shouldn't have given this since it looked and tasted odd. Like flour, water and cornstarch.

Kare-Kare

My favorite! The bagoong tasted homemade and it was perfect together. This one is good for 3-4 people since there's so much meat in it. The sauce was not watered down so you can imagine the rich peanut taste.

Crispy Pata

Crunchy Texture, Salty taste with the crushed garlic and soy sauce...awesome....:)

Aligue Prawns

My mom loved this. You need rice since the sauce is strong and can cause nausea for those who not used to it. A added calamansi to compliment the sauce.

Green Apple Martini

My sister A calls it: "green apple soda" since it didn't taste like martini and she didn't like it at all. Well, at least we know the food is good! just order water next time:)

Overall, this place is ideal for everyone. The service is a lot better than Mesa, the filipino restaurant next door, so that is a PLUS. Food is tasty and you can really taste the flavor of each dish and the place itself is conducive for bonding.

New Bombay

New Bombay Restaurant is located in Greenbelt, The Columns Makati, San Juan, Glorietta 4 and Podium. All branches have been consistent with the portions and taste of the food. The service, is a different story. J and I enjoyed our dinner in the Greenbelt branch and we did our best to ignore the lousy, crappy, indifferent staff. If you're looking for a place that has good food, great ambiance and friendly staff, this isn't it, unless you order take out.:)

So this is what we decided to have:

Chicken Tikka Masala

My usual favorite when I have indian food. We asked for medium spicy, which was perfect!

Spinach Cottage Cheese

J loves this, especially when eaten with the Naan Bread.

Naan

Not much of a favorite of mine since it lacks taste, which by the way is really the case when you order the plain ones.

Basmati Rice

We finished everything. The best thing about indian food is that it's heavy, so we didn't really feel hungry even 4 hours after.

You can try this place since the cost of the food is reasonable. Meal's cost PHP 200-400 so it's affordable compared to the other Indian restaurants in town. I have no idea if it's authentic, though I usually see Indians dine here so it must be a good sign.

Don't expect efficient service and you'll be fine. Oh! The Podium branch is alot better.

Mesa, Greenbelt 5

We celebrated the birthday of C at Mesa last night. The girls and I enjoyed since the food was good and ambiance was conducive for our bonding. A plus is that they did not mind that we were noisy. haha! The only thing missing in this place is good service - they forgot our order of Crispy Pata.
I like eating at Mesa since the food is usually good - except for their 2-way laing. They still need training when it comes to service since they usually have boo-boos everytime I'm here.We decided to order their different best sellers, and here they are:

Beef Kare Kare

It was pretty good! I prefer this to Ox Tail Kare Kare.

My favorite Crispy Boneless Tilapia with 4 sauces

All of us enjoyed this one. You can just keep trying the different sauces so you get a different taste for every bite. Its sort of like for those with ADHD.:)

Baby Squid Adobo

The squid was cooked perfectly. It was also clean and tasty, a bit salty but just right. I loved the oil of this. Perfect:)

Pomelo Salad

K was with us, which meant - salad! I'm relieved that this salad (or should I say, Fruit salad - since its mostly just pomelo) was good and it tastes similar to the thai pomelo salad.

C's free birthday cassava cake

This was served warm with the right sticky texture and sweetness to it. We all enjoyed this. Happy Birthday Champs!

Pinatayong Manok

This was for the table next to us. V and I just decided to take pictures. haha!

Mesa is located at Greenbelt 5, across the Nuvo area, near Steve Madden, Promod and Warehouse. It's best to reserve since it's usually full.

Lusso

Lusso's Foie Gras Burger is awesome! delightful! perfect! I would have wanted them to add more foie gras inside though I guess this will do. The serving of the burger is big and its juicy and tender when you bite into it. The Prosecco onions complements the meat perfectly. It goes with fries and melted cambozola cheese. It costs PHP 595 - yes very affordable!

Lusso Truffle Potato Crisps

This is a must! For PHP 150, you can order 2:) It's similar to the chips from Cibo. Perhaps its because its also owned by the Fores Family.

You should try this place. Great ambiance and good food. Their Mac and cheese is also very creamy and rich:)

Restaurante Pia Y Damaso Part II

My second visit to Damaso was alot better simply because we had the regular food, rather than the exotic and strange entrees.

Sisa's Dementia

This you have got to try! It is gooooood! we all loved this one:)

Chicken, Mushroom and cream croquettes

These were average. I had to order an appetizer while waiting for the ladies since I was starving.

Tinapa pasta with basil

This is one of the few favorites that people usually order. It was better with chilli flakes;)

Chicken Pork Adobo

I was sad since there was sauce instead of OIL, which is a must for me when it comes to adobo.

Garlic Rice which comes with adobo

Tsokolate Eh and Toasted Ensaimada

Yes, my favorite...we meet again;) The hot chocolate tastes like tablea and the ensaymada is just perfect. Bread was moist and it wasn't too sweet.

Coffee? Tea?

We also tried the beef ribs, which disappeared the moment it was placed on the table. hahaha. Our bill came out PHP 2,000 ++ for everything.

I really enjoy having the desserts here. They never disappoint you:) I shall definitely return so I can try the other cakes.
