Racks

J and I always enjoy when we have the Ribs at Racks. We were craving for ribs so we decided to go to the El Pueblo Branch. Service here is quick and you get your food around 15-20 minutes after ordering. Food is great, except for the dry corn bread.:)

Ribs
Again, you know your filipino if you prefer lots of extra  rice with your ribs (which is what we did).

Up close:)
Very tender meat

Gravy Fries
My new favorite:) Fries are crispy with enough salt and the gravy has bits of garlic so you enjoy the salty/garlic/ buttery taste. I shall return for you!:)

Beans
Average.....

Overall, Racks is worth visiting since the ambiance is comfortable and friendly. The staff are friendly and the food is tasty and affordable (PHP 200-400 Plus per meal except for the side dishes). Love the fries and the tender ribs. I forgot to take a picture of the bbq sauce but its great especially if you put a few drops of the hot bbq sauce;)

Cheers!:)

Minato

My Number 1 Favorite Korean Restaurant
This is it. The Korean Restaurant with awesome tasting food! My boyfriend and I eat here religiously. Good friends of ours shared this secret a long time ago. Well its not much of a secret anymore since its full of people during dinner time. Half of it is a Japanese Restaurant which also seems inviting.
Its located in Estero Street, Ortigas. There is a Korean Grocery beside the place.

Greens for the bbq and kimchi pancake

Sidings

Marinated Beef Ribs
You will lovvvvvveeeeee!

sigh...

This soup is a bit spicy. It has a lot of tofu and seafood. Its sooo goood!
This is a must.

The sauces of Minato and the taste of the food is very different from the other Korean Restaurants I have tried. It will leave you asking for more. Service here depends on what time you go. The servers are pretty attentive and friendly most of the time.

Hope to catch you here soon:)
Cheers!

Yedang

My 2nd favorite Korean Restaurant
Yedang, a Korean Restaurant near Metrowalk will catch your attention from afar since it usually causes traffic in the narrow street by the overpass. Service is fast here and you can rely on quality food. Its worth your money, though its not the kind of place you can hang out in after eating, since there are hungry people waiting for you to vacate the table even before you get your food. No kidding.

My favorite marinated beef ribs
Awesomeness

Appetizers/ Side dishes

Ribs before they were cooked
You can ask them to cook these in the kitchen or in front of you. Though you might smell like smoke afterwards:)

I think they make the best Jap Chae

Cheers!
