Kogi Bulgogi

Lately, J and I have been addicted to Korean Food, which lead us to try this new restaurant in Eastwood Mall, Libis. We ordered take out and check out what we got for PHP 800.:)

Marinated Spicy Chicken
J loved this since it was so tasty.

Bulgogi
They were kind enough to give us extra sauce. Meat is tender though I felt that it was average.

Kimchi Pancake
This is my favorite. It's not the best I've had, though the serving is big and we weren't able to finish it. I prefer the Minato version since its a bit crispy on the outside of the pancake:)

Garlic Rice
The first time I ever tried their garlic rice, I was so happy that I started munching on it alone. Correction - J and I did. This visit though was highly disappointing, since it lacked the salty-garlic taste that was so strong last time. What happened? Inconsistencies disappoint me.

Side Dish 1: Dilis
Yes, this was free and I so loved it. It was spicy, salty and crispy too. yummmmm

Side Dish 2: Green Leafy vegetables
I have no idea what vegetable this is though it tasted as if it was steamed since there wasn't any flavor. It was still good though. Besides, anything free is perfect.:)

Side Dish 3: White/green vegetables
I also do not know what you call this one. Though it tasted like Kimchi, except they used a different kind of leaf.

Overall, this place is affordable and cheap. A meal here costs PHP 185 above each so it's pretty affordable. The service here is average however the staff are all friendly and polite. I also noticed that the manager checks on the staff and timeliness as well. Since the place is new, it's clean and comfortable.
Cheers!:)

Minato 3

J and I had our monthly date at Minato. located at Escriva since we always enjoy the food!

Yummy soup with tofu, egg and seafood
This is a bit spicy though really worth it. The seasoning is just perfect and I love that the soup is boiling when it is served. Comfort food!

Spicy Chicken
We tried this Dak for the first time and we loved the marinade. The chicken's taste is a bit sweet, spicy and salty.

Kimchi Pancake
My favorite

Minato is always reliable especially since the food, service and cost of the food are all great! The staff are so accommodating and the owner always checks to ensure quality. Value for money indeed.
Cheers to one of my favorite restaurants in Ortigas!:)
you may check my other links for directions to Minato:)

Minato

Here is my 2nd post on Minato. I'm sorry but these are really my favorite entrees. They are delicious!
J and I probably eat here once every other month - ever since Danee brought us to this place.:) People usually go to Yedang, which is beside Metrowalk, though this place is really the winner for me. Good service, perfect food and comfortable ambiance. In yedang, they make you leave (the lady owner) after you finish your meal since lots of people are waiting for their turn. At least in Minato, they are polite enough to wait for you to leave. Just make sure you tie your hair when you come here since you will end up smelling like kimchi. :)

Marinated Beef Ribs (2 orders)

Tofu Soup with Seafood
Spicy, filling, tasty, perfect!

I love this appetizer. Its the Kimchi Pancake and its so good!

Did I mention that the food is affordable? For the 2 orders of beef ribs and the soup, our bill was PHP 1000+ so it was affordable!
There are other Restaurants in the area and even a Korean Grocery so make sure you go to Minato.
This place is located along Escriva Drive in Ortigas.

Cheers!:)

Minato

My Number 1 Favorite Korean Restaurant
This is it. The Korean Restaurant with awesome tasting food! My boyfriend and I eat here religiously. Good friends of ours shared this secret a long time ago. Well its not much of a secret anymore since its full of people during dinner time. Half of it is a Japanese Restaurant which also seems inviting.
Its located in Estero Street, Ortigas. There is a Korean Grocery beside the place.

Greens for the bbq and kimchi pancake

Sidings

Marinated Beef Ribs
You will lovvvvvveeeeee!

sigh...

This soup is a bit spicy. It has a lot of tofu and seafood. Its sooo goood!
This is a must.

The sauces of Minato and the taste of the food is very different from the other Korean Restaurants I have tried. It will leave you asking for more. Service here depends on what time you go. The servers are pretty attentive and friendly most of the time.

Hope to catch you here soon:)
Cheers!

Yedang

My 2nd favorite Korean Restaurant
Yedang, a Korean Restaurant near Metrowalk will catch your attention from afar since it usually causes traffic in the narrow street by the overpass. Service is fast here and you can rely on quality food. Its worth your money, though its not the kind of place you can hang out in after eating, since there are hungry people waiting for you to vacate the table even before you get your food. No kidding.

Chicken and Beef BBQ

Take 2

Tofu Soup

My favorite marinated beef ribs
Awesomeness

Appetizers/ Side dishes

Ribs before they were cooked
You can ask them to cook these in the kitchen or in front of you. Though you might smell like smoke afterwards:)

I think they make the best Jap Chae

Cheers!

Jang Gun Korean Restaurant

Jang Gun Korean Restaurant
My 3rd favorite Korean Restaurant

Appetizers

Jap Chae

Marinated beef ribs (close to heaven)

chicken (dak) bbq

This place is one of my favorite Korean Restaurants. I always see the owners and they are also Korean. The service is average, however the food is really good. You don't really need sauce when ordering their bbq meat.
Location: Along Libis, across the back entrance of Eastwood and the Police Station
I don't think it has been discovered yet since it is not as full as the other Korean Restaurants. Its pretty worth your money though.

Cheers!

Korean Beef Stew (Yummy!)

Kimchi Pancake
(it was tasty as well)

Yummy marinated ribs:)
i can eat korean ribs forever.....

Korean Garden has yummy food, though I still prefer the Korean restos at Ortigas (Yedang and Misato, if I remember correctly).
I had fun with my family though! Great people always make the dining experience worthwhile:)
