Sanctuario Restaurant

I had dinner at Sanctuario in Metrowalk before shopping for DVDs. The original branch is located in Tagaytay. It was my first time to dine here and I was hesitant since the place lacked appeal. I decided to order Adobo, which was a great decision!

Check out the flakes. This meal was not oily at all! I was so happy I finished everything in 5 minutes.:)

Adobo Flakes Heaven
Do I need to elaborate? I will come back for more next week:)

Cheers!

Acuatico Beach Resort Batangas

It was last year that my sister found this great place in Laiya, Batangas. Its the nicest resort in Laiya. Food is edible (if you know what I mean), however the service is pretty good. The beach is clean although similar to the Laiya Beach resorts, the sand is far from fine.
If you need a place to unwind, relax and de-stress, this is the place for you and your loved ones.

Cheers to a happy summer;)

Floating Island Restaurant, MMC

St. Luke's will always be my favorite hospital. Though for today, we had to go to Makati Med since my sister needed to see the doctor my family consults with from time to time. We had lunch after the good news!

Gambas
The garlic taste of the gambas was so strong. I loved this. Oily, tender and spicy....my kind of food!

Adobo Rice
This is a staple here. We ordered 2 for the 4 of us, though we only finished one. So you might want to consider this next time. We all liked the adobo rice. Tasty and moist.

Crispy Pata
We had the small order, though it did not really seem small since we couldn't finish it. I so loved this as well. The sauce complimented the pork and it's not that oily.

Can you see the texture and yumminess?:)

Pinakbet
Vegetables for mom and ate:)

We had Dad's favorite siopao. I don't understand why people like siopao....
My sisters and my mom said its not the same anymore.

Here is the entrance and our food server:)

For those who prefer take out, you can order here:)

We also had turon and vanilla ice cream. I no longer took pictures since they did not look appetizing. The turons were wrapped in plastic (perhaps so it is easier to eat?), which completely freaked my mom out. We found it so funny! It was good ofcourse! You can never go wrong with the combination of turon and ice cream:)

We enjoyed ourselves here though when we got home, we all felt so sleepy. The food was good however they put MSG for sure! Maybe when you dine here, you can ask them not to put MSG especially if you're allergic. Enjoy!

Cheers!

Restaurante Pia Y Damaso Part II

My second visit to Damaso was alot better simply because we had the regular food, rather than the exotic and strange entrees.

Sisa's Dementia
This you have got to try! It is gooooood! we all loved this one:)

Chicken, Mushroom and cream croquettes
These were average. I had to order an appetizer while waiting for the ladies since I was starving.

Tinapa pasta with basil
This is one of the few favorites that people usually order. It was better with chilli flakes;)

Chicken Pork Adobo
I was sad since there was sauce instead of OIL, which is a must for me when it comes to adobo.

Garlic Rice which comes with adobo

Tsokolate Eh and Toasted Ensaimada
Yes, my favorite...we meet again;) The hot chocolate tastes like tablea and the ensaymada is just perfect. Bread was moist and it wasn't too sweet.

Coffee? Tea?

We also tried the beef ribs, which disappeared the moment it was placed on the table. hahaha. Our bill came out PHP 2,000 ++ for everything.

I really enjoy having the desserts here. They never disappoint you:) I shall definitely return so I can try the other cakes.

Cheers!:)

Pamana Restaurant, Tagaytay Part II

I was happy to visit one of my favorite restaurants in Tagaytay. I love Filipino food. Service was a lot faster than I recall, though it worries me since they may have pre-cooked the food? Or am I just paranoid? Dinner was lovely;)

Kare-Kare up close;)
Meat was tender!

I would have wanted the food to be hotter.

Ilocos Bagnet
I ate most of the Bagnet since Jay was in love with the Kare-kare. Honestly, the real Ilocos Bagnet tastes so much better than this one. Though this was crunchy enough.

We ordered their best sellers and I find them average. My favorite would still have to be the Binagoongan.;) (Check my previous post)

Here is the menu for you guys!

The bill came in this tiny chest.

Pamana is always a great place to go since the cost of the food is affordable, ambiance makes you feel just at home and the servers attend to you efficiently. It is just along Aguinaldo Highway, near Boutique so it is easy to find.

Cheers:)

The Boutique Bed and Breakfast, Tagaytay

We finally got to stay at Boutique BnB. I was able to relax and de-stress from my crazy week.

The only room available was I DESIRE. Check it out....

Bed was comfortable and relaxing...

The view was great! It can be noisy at night since this room is directly above the Hawaiian BBQ Restaurant.

They let you choose your soaps, scented oil, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. We chose lavender oil, dry skin lotion and green apple bath products.

Good night meal
Cookies were hard and forgettable.

Breakfast in bed. We chose to have tapa for our breakfast since it's our favorite. Servings were generous!

Mango with yogurt and hot chocolate

Banana Yogurt and Coffee

Bread was nothing special

Good bye gift from Boutique

The chocolate wrapper has hearts...how cute:)

Beef Ribs from Hawaiian BBQ. I had this with rice (PHP475)
I liked this since it was sweet and spicy. The bones tasted as if they were marinted for a whole month! I felt like a dog:)

Yummmmm:)

Boutique has average service, however the room is comfortable and the staff don't really bother you - which is what I appreciate:)
They also give a complimentary facial cold stone massage and it was relaxing! I find that you get your money's worth considering you are pampered and have less pimples after your stay...if you know what I mean;)
Overall, this is a nice place to relax and get away from everything. Location is perfect since it's close to different restaurants.

Cheers to more unwinding!:)

You may check the website or text them to book.
